Behold Astro snoopy. Circa 1969. Sometimes these things go for over $100 on leBay. Sometimes you can get them for $30 or so. The one I’m watching currently stands at $14.95 with 5 days left.

This is what the inside of a cactus looks like. I picked it up on a hike in Palm Springs, where you can find incredible looking things walking around in the desert. It’s wacky out there and really beautiful. I find hiking sort of boring but I could’ve spent days poking around in the dust taking pictures of weird-looking sticks and stones.

I’m spending all my free time today trying to finish On the Road. I didn’t like it very much in high school, but I’m enjoying it now. Why? Because, now I am a beatnik.
