Should be dark–generally dark brown, brown or hazel. A very light eye is not liked. The eye should be moderately full, with a soft look in repose, but a keen, far away look when the Deerhound is roused.

Felt friends! Felt friends promised in time for Christmas! Sorry, dear people, but binge drinking, over-spending and other forms of gluttony and laziness got in the way and I didn’t finish all my adorable little creatures on time. Don’t fret! I am in detox for the whole month of January and plan to spend this weekend soberly sewing little animals for your new year’s enjoyment. Expect them in the next week or so. Consider them your lucky talismans for 2010.
